    Major goal: This study seeks to corroborate results obtained in murine models of Parkinson’s Disease non human primates.

    The National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Stroke funds the project titled: 'Activation of the GPCR Smoothened as a treatment of L-Dopa Induced dyskinesia' (NINDS 1 R21 NS095253-01A1).

    Major goal: Identifying Shh regulated genes expressed by cholinergic neurons of the striatum by deep sequencing and validating them as potential targets for ameliorating L-Dopa refractory impairments in Parkinson’s Disease.
